The Seventh-day Adventist Church in Kenya
The Seventh-day Adventist Church is a Christian church worldwide that professes to be based on the Bible and the teachings of Ellen G. White and early Adventists.
The central beliefs of the church are summarized in the Apostles' Creed and first five. The church is officially recognised by the Government of Kenya as a Christian church. Most Kenyan SDA churches are affiliated to the Canadian based North American Division, in contrast to the East African Division which has its main headquarters in Kenya. The church is reported to have a membership of 200,000 individuals.

In July 1949, the church headquarters were established in Nairobi with Rev. Dankenbring as head pastor. With his missionary focus on winning African converts, Dankenbring and his staff established the South East Africa Conference, headquarters at Nairobi.
In the years that followed, more churches
