Arrival by public transport
You have a better chance of getting here by public transport than by car. Flights take a little over an hour from the US and a lot longer from Canada. Even in the South of France you can get here by train, or we’re happy to discuss transfers on arrival.
Taxis can be booked through our website or we can arrange one for you on arrival. We can also send a cab to pick you up at the airport.
You'll need a visa for a holiday to Switzerland. However, it is an EU-free travel zone so you will not need a Swiss visa. The easiest way to find out whether you need a visa is to contact the Swiss embassy or consulate in your home country. Please check the website for details.
You can find more information and useful travel links on the Switzerland government website.
When you book your flight to Switzerland, use our flight search feature to find cheap flights.
Please be aware that departure taxes are not included in the price of your flight or hotel reservation, so you will need to pay for these on arrival.
Please note, you may need to pay more for your flight if your departure city is in another country.
Many of the flights and flight-inclusive holidays on this website are financially protected by the ATOL scheme. But ATOL protection does not apply to all holiday and travel services listed on this website. Please ask us to confirm what protection may apply to your booking. If you do not receive an ATOL Certificate then the booking will not be ATOL protected. If you do receive an ATOL Certificate but all the parts of your trip are not listed on it, those parts will not be ATOL protected.
